PETER’S 50TH ANNUAL PLANT SALE 2022

St. Peter’s will conduct its 50th Annual Plant and Garden Sale, with several opportunities for our friends and visitors. Gift Certificates may be pre-ordered for both Paul and Sandy’s and Malerba’s Farms. Plants may be preordered from Malerba’s, and picked up at the church hall. Other sale items will be available for purchase in the hall – All on May 7th, 9-3.   St. Peter’s receives a percentage of the items sold.

  1. Plants preordered and picked up at the church on Saturday, May 7th 2022

You can place your order from Malerba’s Nursery with specific selections. Fill out the order form (linked at the bottom of this page), total the amount and mail your check, being postmarked no later than April 25th OR you can place it in the envelope marked Plant sale in the large box, at the entrance to Phelps Hall by April 25th.

  1. Purchasing anything for personal pickup at Malerba’s Farm, with a gift certificate

If you wish to purchase specific plants not listed on the form, you can purchase a certificate in any amount above $25 and use it yourself or give it as a Mother’s Day Gift or drive to Malerba’s, 634 New London Tpke, Norwich, CT, a 30-minute drive from Hebron, where you may purchase any plants sold there (plus fresh produce and preserves, etc.).  Fill out the Gift-certificate order form (linked at the bottom of this page), and include your check for the amount you choose, made out to St. Peter’s Church. We will prepare a certificate for you to pick up at St. Peter’s on May 7th. You must present the certificate we give you at Malerba’s in order to redeem it. This certificate does not have any expiration date. The purchase requires a $25 minimum, and can increase as you wish in $5 increments. If your purchase exceeds the amount of your certificate, the excess paid will go to Malerba’s and not to St. Peter’s.

  1. Ordering anything for pickup at Paul’s and Sandy’s, East Hampton

You can purchase a certificate in any amount above $25 and use it yourself or give it as a Mother’s Day Gift.  Paul’s and Sandy’s, 93 East High Street {Route 66), East Hampton, CT, is a 12-minute drive from Hebron.  Fill out the attached Gift-certificate order form, and include your check for the amount you choose, made out to St. Peter’s Church. We will prepare a certificate for you to pick up at St. Peter’s on May 7th. You must present the certificate we give you at Paul’s & Sandy’s in order to redeem it. This certificate does not have any expiration date. The purchase requires a $25 minimum, and can increase as you wish in $5 increments. If your purchase exceeds the amount of your certificate, the excess paid will go to Paul’s & Sandy’s and not to St. Peter’s.   1. Payment and Pickup Logistics

You can total all three forms in one check, mailed to St. Peter’s Church, P.O. Box 513, Hebron, CT 06248. It is critical that it is mailed at the post office NO LATER THAN APRIL 25th, OR you can also drop it in the large box at the entrance to Phelp’s Hall by April 25th. Any orders postmarked after April 25th will not have time to travel to St. Peter’s and we will not be able to prepare your order for pickup.   1. Inside Phelp’s Hall we will feature several opportunities for you:
  2. There will be some potted plants from the nurseries for you to purchase, including a display featuring native plants to encourage bees and butterflies.
  3. Many potted perennials from the nurseries.
  4. Potted perennials shared from our parishioners‘ gardens.
  5. Summer and garden crafts made by our parishioners.
  6. A tag sale of gently used garden and plant items.
  7. Some plants and hangers not reserved by pre-orders.
