The French 75 Dixieland Jazz Orchestra is a five-piece traditional jazz ensemble consisting of Morgan Brown on banjo and guitar, Allison Lazur on tuba, Mark Macksoud on drums and vocals, Seth Bailey on trumpet, and
Alexander Kollias on clarinet.
French 75 has quickly gained recognition throughout the greater northeast. Performing hits from the 1900s – 1940s, the ensemble embraces the sounds of Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton, and many of the mavericks of American Jazz, performing hits like “Ain’t Misbehavin’,” “Basin Street Blues,” and “When the Saints Go Marching In.” French 75 can be heard at numerous venues, including breweries, pubs, and festivals across New York and Connecticut.
