ST. PETER’S 49TH ANNUAL PLANT SALE BY MAIL 2021

In light of the current restrictions of the coronavirus, St. Peter’s will conduct its Annual Plant Sale, but it will be done via mail and drive-through pickup. We will also be limiting our selection of plants being picked up directly at the church although certificates can be purchased for shopping at Paul’s & Sandy’s or Malerba’s. Here are the three ways to participate. St. Peter’s will get a percentage of the items sold.
- Plants preordered and picked up at the church on Saturday, May 8th 2021
We will use the drive through pickup method. You can place your order using the enclosed form from Malerba’s Nursery with specific selections. Fill out the form, total the amount and send your check & the form using the envelope provided, being postmarked no later than April 25th. OR you can drop it in the large brown box, at the entrance to Phelps Hall by April 25th.
- Purchasing anything for personal pickup at Malerba’s Farm.
If you wish to purchase specific plants not listed on the form, you can purchase a certificate so you can drive to Malerba’s, 634 New London Tnpke, Norwich, CT, a 30-minute drive from church. You may purchase any plants sold there, (fresh produce and preserves, etc). Fill out the enclosed gift certificate order form, and include your check, made out to St. Peter’s Church. We will prepare a redemption certificate that will be placed in an envelope for you to pick up at St. Peter’s on May 8th. At Malerba’s you must present the certificate we give you in order to redeem it. This certificate has no expiration date. The total will be a $25 minimum, with $5 increments. If your purchase exceeds the amount of your certificate, the excess paid will go to Malerba’s and not to St. Peter’s.
- Ordering anything for pickup at Paul’s and Sandy’s, East Hampton
Paul’s & Sandy’s, 93 East High Street {Route 66), East Hampton, CT, a 12-minute drive from the church, will sell anything in their store with the authorized certificate from St. Peter’s. Fill out the enclosed gift certificate order form, and include your check, made out to St. Peter’s Church. We will prepare a redemption certificate that will be placed in an envelope for you to pick up at St. Peter’s on May 8th. At Paul’s & Sandy’s you must present the certificate we give you in order to redeem it. This certificate has no expiration date. The total will be a $25 minimum, with $5 increments. If your purchase exceeds the amount of your certificate, the excess paid will go to Paul’s & Sandy’s and not to St. Peter’s. - Payment and Pickup Logistics
You can total all three forms in one check, mailed to St. Peter’s Church, P.O. Box 513, Hebron, CT 06248. It is critical that it is mailed at the post office NO LATER THAN APRIL 25th, OR you can also drop it in the large brown box at the entrance to Phelps’ Hall by April 25th. Any orders postmarked after April 25th will not have time to travel to St. Peter’s and we will not be able to prepare your order for pickup. Pickup will be similar to our takeout dinners; you drive through in a Dunkin Donut style line. You will be directed to proceed to the plant /certificate pickup area, where your order will be placed in your truck or car. Your certificate will be handed to you through your car window by a gloved and masked attendant, and off you go!
