St. Peter's 5th Annual
Ladies Tea and Tunes
We held our 5th Annual Ladies Tea and Tunes on Saturday, April 26. The program featured harpist Allyn Bryson Donath on the Celtic harp during the tea and at the end of the afternoon, ‘Take Note!’ a twenty-five-voice a cappella musical group entertained us with their harmonies in St. Peter's sanctuary.
All of the proceeds from Tea and Tunes are used for outreach. This year half will go to the Episcopal Relief and Development for support of programs in Third World nations and half will go to the Bishop's Fund for Children which supports programs for children throughout Connecticut including the Lantern Mentoring Program offered by AHM in Hebron.
We would like to thank the following local businesses for their support: Ranunculus Flowers, Marlborough; Wild Geese Gifts, Colchester; Hurst Farm, Hebron; Craig Cyr Maple Products, Hebron; and Paul's and Sandy's Too, East Hampton.
We would also like to thank the following men of the parish who did an outstanding job serving as the waiters at the tea: Jack Brinkman, Steve Wells, Dan Osmond, Fred Robson, Jack Gasper, and Bert Higgins. Thanks again to all of you!
