St. Peter's History Day

St. Peter's History Day was held on Saturday, June 14, as part of Hebron's 300th Anniversary celebration.

Kathy Talbot gave an entertaining tour of the chuch, telling many stories about the long history of our parish.  Noted organist Ronald Miner Hughes demonstrated and played the 1861 Johnson Tracker organ, one of about 300 left in the world today.  Dave Oat, an expert on old cemeteries, gave an interesting (and fun) presentation and then led the group on a tour of the St. Peter's cemetery adjacent to the church.  Sherry Obey, Parish Historian, prepared a display of old photographs and artifacts from the church's history.

All in all, it was a very interesting day!
